![]() ![]() 'For something like that, have Nitocris take care of it.’ Propping a cheek up with his fist, Ozymandias had a leg crossed over the other as he lazed upon one of the couches, perusing a document of some sort. It was as though he didn’t even bother to process whatever garbled 'spider’ issue it was that you were trying to tell him. When you first burst into the lounge, it just so happened that one of the few people you absolutely could not, or should not, ask for help with this issue was the only person in the room. Was that a hint of a blush on the tips of his ears? Gilgamesh’s absolute refusal to turn back was evident. We? You bit back a smile, looking up at the back of his head. 'Tch.’ A sturdy hand encircled your wrist, pulling you out of the room. Involuntarily, your body moved away from your savior and closer to Gilgamesh. With bated breath you watched as Fou catches the spider in its mouth and begin to trot towards you. Your attempted retort was cut off by Fou darting into the room, who began to harass the spider. It couldn’t be helped! Gilgamesh just happened to be the first person you saw the moment you escaped the room, and he was currently blocking your way out. You couldn’t face him properly, so you turned towards the room in a vain attempt to locate the spider. The ensuing silence and the look of disappointment churning in the hard glare of his eyes told you that you had made a costly mistake. Finally, with a trembling voice and eyes directed at everywhere but Gilgamesh, you asked. Your eyes darted to the doorway as you debated whether to risk your life or accept a new spider roommate. ‘Well then, Master, do you have anything to say?’ You knew he knew what you wanted from him! It was only a matter of whether you dared to ask…īut… Should you? Surely, it would not be 'Kingly’ to be asked by a lowly person to kill a lowly spider. Arms crossed, his heavy armor clanged with every step he took into your room. Looking up, you see Gilgamesh’s sneering face survey the room for the source of your fear. Your panic was apparently a source of entertainment for your visitor. The pain disoriented you at first, but the thought of being on the same surface as the eight-legged abomination had you scrambling up to make as little contact area with the room as possible. The blockade was hardly impressed by your collision with it, remaining still as your body made acquaintance with the floor. Oh boy, to say that there was a delay in updates sure is an understatement.Īs the spider inched ever closer toward you, you fought to hold your shriek in while turning to exit your room only to run into cold, hard metal.
